Georgina Rodríguez Set to Adopt Cristiano Ronaldo’s Three Older Children
Cristiano Ronaldo’s family may soon become even more closely united, as reports from the Portuguese press indicate that his wife, Georgina Rodríguez, is in the process of formally adopting the football icon’s three oldest children.
The development comes barely over a week after Ronaldo and Rodríguez reportedly tied the knot, marking another major milestone in their long-standing relationship.
According to the reports, Rodríguez is taking steps to legally adopt Ronaldo’s eldest son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., as well as his twins, Eva Maria and Mateo. Once the legal process is completed, she will reportedly be formally recognised as their mother.
The adoption process is said to be taking place away from public attention, with the couple quietly completing the required legal documentation and procedures in private.
Rodríguez and Ronaldo have been together since 2016, and over the years, she has played a central role in the lives of all his children. Their close-knit family has often been seen together at major events, celebrations and holidays, with Rodríguez reportedly embracing Ronaldo’s children as her own.
Ronaldo became a father for the first time in 2010 with the birth of Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. Seven years later, in June 2017, he welcomed twins Eva Maria and Mateo.
Later that same year, Ronaldo and Rodríguez welcomed their first child together, Alana Martina, making Rodríguez a biological mother for the first time.
The family expanded again in 2022 with the birth of their daughter, Bella Esmeralda.
If the adoption process is successfully concluded, it will represent a significant new chapter for the Ronaldo family, further strengthening the bond between Rodríguez and the three children she has helped raise for years. The move would also legally formalise the maternal role she has long played within one of football’s most famous families.
