Osun Guber: Atiku, other party bigwigs storm Osogbo, pull mammoth crowd

Presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Atiku Abubakar and a delegation of political associates on Monday, stormed Osogbo the Osun State capital to rally support for the party’s governorship candidate, Dr Najeem Folasayo Salaam.

MEDIA TODAY reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC is set to conduct a governorship election in Osun State on Saturday.

ADC held the grand finale of its campaign with a mammoth crowd of supporters assuring the party’s candidate of victory.

Atiku who posted photos of the campaign on his official X handle shortly after the event, appealed to eligible voters in the state to trust the ADC.

He said, “We are here to rally support for our candidate and make a final appeal to the people of Osun State to entrust the ADC with the responsibility of delivering purposeful leadership, good governance and a better future for all”.

However, MEDIA TODAY reports that Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party and Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress, APC are the major contenders.
