Woman Sentenced To One Year, Faces Deportation For Stalking BTS’ Jungkook
June 23 () — A Brazilian woman has been given a suspended prison sentence for repeatedly stalking and trespassing at the home of BTS member, Jungkook, in Seoul, South Korea.
The Seoul Western District Court sentenced her to one year in prison, suspended for two years. She was also found guilty of trespassing and violating South Korea’s anti-stalking law.
Court documents say she visited Jungkook’s home more than 20 times in December last year. On one visit, she rang the doorbell about 133 times. She also left letters and photos at the property.
She was arrested after entering the residence by following a delivery worker through an open gate. She was later released but continued to return, even after being warned by the police and banned from going near the home.
The court said her actions showed a strong obsession, but noted she did not enter the inside of the home. It also said she is expected to be deported once the ruling becomes final.

Jungkook has faced repeated stalking incidents in the past, and his agency has warned fans to respect his privacy.
South Korea’s stalking law allows prison terms of up to three years or fines.
