Ogala has previously described her political ambition as a “divine mandate”. In July, she said during a TikTok Live that Abia residents had “no choice” but to accept her as their next governor.

In the latest clip, the actress also criticised the current administration while speaking about her experience in the state.

“I have been in Abia for three months now, no light. I sleep in my family house, and we don’t have light.”

Ogala said her experience had influenced her assessment of the government, particularly its record on basic infrastructure. She argued that some of the administration’s achievements had been overstated on social media.

Ogala further claimed she was present when parts of Ariaria International Market were built, using the project to question what she described as the government’s infrastructure claims.

The comments come as Ogala continues her campaign after emerging as the AAC’s governorship candidate for Abia State in May. She is expected to face Governor Otti and other candidates in the 2027 election.

Ogala has said her campaign will focus on improving the lives of Abia residents, with priorities including economic growth, job creation, education, healthcare, infrastructure and governance.

The latest comments were made in a clip from The Clarity Zone Podcast, hosted by Nedu Wazobia alongside Bibi Raii and Baby Lawyer. The full episode is scheduled for release on Wednesday, August 19.

“This woman Is lying with so much confidence, which A line was built by Ikpeazu. Ikpeazu that came to demolish A line on a Sunday when peoples goods were still inside. I don’t want to say much but if this is the best @sowore could give Abia then Tinubu is far better than him.”

@Adierepubliq questioned the AAC’s political structure in Abia and criticised Ogala’s decision to pursue the governorship.

“This frustrated woman is just seeking attention I swear. AAC no even dey for state house of assembly, LG Chairman, talk more of house of representatives, senates and governor. No structure, just want to climb the chamber immediately from the governors and president.”
