June 22 () — Air Peace, West Africa’s leading airline and Nigeria’s foremost carrier, has announced the launch of new scheduled international flight services connecting Lagos with Douala in Cameroon, Libreville in Gabon, Bamako in Mali, and Conakry in Guinea, with operations set to commence on August 1, 2026.
The airline said the expansion underscores its commitment to strengthening regional air connectivity while positioning Lagos as a strategic aviation hub linking West and Central Africa with its growing domestic and international network.
According to the airline, the new services will operate through two alternating route patterns designed to enhance efficiency and connectivity across the sub-region.
The first rotation, Lagos–Douala–Libreville–Douala–Lagos, will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Flights will depart Lagos at 08:00 for Douala, arriving 09:30. The service continues with Douala–Libreville at 10:10, arriving 11:30; Libreville–Douala at 12:10, arriving 13:30; and concludes with Douala–Lagos departing 14:10 and arriving 15:40.
The second rotation, Lagos–Bamako–Conakry–Bamako–Lagos, will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The Lagos–Bamako leg departs at 07:00, arriving 08:30. It is followed by Bamako–Conakry at 09:10, arriving 10:50; Conakry–Bamako at 11:30, arriving 13:10; and Bamako–Lagos at 13:50, arriving 17:20.

Air Peace said the new routes will significantly enhance intra-African travel, improve business linkages, and promote tourism and trade across West and Central Africa. It added that the expansion is part of its broader strategy to deepen regional integration and improve access to affordable air travel.
The airline also noted that passengers travelling from Douala, Libreville, Bamako, and Conakry through its Lagos hub will benefit from seamless onward connections to several Nigerian destinations, including Abuja, Port Harcourt, Benin, Enugu, Owerri, Kano, Asaba, Gombe, Ibadan, Yola, Maiduguri, and other cities nationwide.
In addition, the expanded network will provide improved access to Air Peace’s international routes, including London Gatwick in the United Kingdom, as well as Caribbean destinations such as Antigua and Barbados. The airline said this will further enhance global connectivity for passengers across business, tourism, education, and family travel segments.
Corporate organisations and passengers have been urged to take advantage of the new services, competitive fares, generous baggage allowances, and improved network connectivity available across the Air Peace system.
Bookings for the new routes are now open via the airline’s official website, mobile application, contact centre, and accredited travel agents worldwide.
Reaffirming its expansion drive, Air Peace described itself as Africa’s fastest-growing network carrier, noting its continued commitment to making air travel more accessible while strengthening Nigeria’s position as a leading aviation hub connecting Africa to the world.
