“I have come to show support to the governor and also to share one or two private discussions with my brothers and the governor”, the former speaker said.

“The governor is doing well. I have said it in several fora and we will continue to pray that God will grant him the grace, wisdom and good health to continue to deliver on the promises he has made to Abia people”.

Enweremadu, however, stressed the need for Abians to recognise the contributions of successive administrations to the development of the state, describing governance as a continuous process.

According to him, Governor Otti is fulfilling the responsibility entrusted to him by the electorate by building on existing foundations while also pursuing his administration’s development agenda.

“I think the governor is doing his part, given the time that is available to him by the mandate given to him by Abia people, to further from where the past administrations stopped.

“And I think he is doing well on that part”, Enweremadu said.

The APC chieftain reiterated that his engagement with Otti was strictly private and centred on his perspective as a former presiding officer of the state legislature and stakeholder in Abia, rather than partisan Politics.

“I am not here to discuss Politics; I am here on a private visit and as a former Speaker of the House of Assembly, I have also shared what I think are my observations of what is happening in Abia.

“It was well received, and he has also given me some updates on what he is doing, and I am happy with what is happening,” Enweremadu said.
