Abia Content Creators Launch New Community to Promote Collaboration and Collective Growth

A new platform aimed at bringing together content creators across Abia State has been launched, with a focus on collaboration, professional development, knowledge sharing and creating opportunities within the media and digital space.

The initiative, known as the Abia State Content Creators Community, is being coordinated by media professional, broadcaster and content creator Igoyan Baba, alongside prominent creatives including MC NAS, Garri Gabon, Sagacious Comedy, MC Organic, Psoma and Mr Thompson  (Media King).

In a welcome message to members, Igoyan Baba explained that the platform was established to unite content creators from different parts of Abia State, encourage synergy and provide an avenue where members can exchange ideas, share opportunities, collaborate on projects and support one another’s growth.

According to him, the community is open to creators from diverse backgrounds, age groups and professional experiences, with mutual respect expected to remain one of its core values.

He also stressed that the platform is strictly non-political.

While members are free to support political parties or candidates of their choice on their personal platforms, he stated that political disagreements, insults, unnecessary arguments and partisan confrontations would not be encouraged within the community.

The organisers said the primary objective is to build a strong network where Abia content creators can learn from one another, develop meaningful collaborations, improve their visibility and collectively strengthen the state’s presence in the media and digital creative economy.

Speaking further on the mobilisation drive, MC NAS called on members to contribute towards bringing more content creators from across Abia State into the initiative.

He reiterated that the platform was not established for any political purpose, adding that specific programmes, projects and activities of the group would be communicated by the convener in due course.

MC NAS encouraged members to invite friends, colleagues and other genuine content creators operating within Abia State to join the community and contribute towards its development.

The organisers expressed optimism that the initiative would provide a stronger collective voice for creators, foster partnerships and open new doors for collaboration, training, exposure and professional opportunities.
