As the forthcoming elections draw nearer, it has become increasingly necessary to restate the strategic importance of Abia Arise and the indispensable role it is positioned to play in shaping the political direction and electoral outcomes ahead.
Abia Arise must not be viewed, treated, or positioned as a secondary platform or an appendage to any other political interest. Its strength, reach, organisation, grassroots presence, and political capital make it a partner of consequence whose voice, interests, and contributions must receive appropriate recognition.
Abia Arise Has Earned Its Place at the Table
Political relevance is not determined merely by titles or the size of a formal structure. It is earned through commitment, mobilisation, sacrifice, consistency, and the ability to translate political ideas into meaningful grassroots engagement.
Abia Arise has demonstrated these qualities. Its members and supporters have invested time, energy, resources, relationships, and political goodwill in the pursuit of a better political future for Abia State.
Such contributions cannot reasonably be dismissed or relegated to the background when strategic decisions concerning the forthcoming elections are being made.
We Are Not a Supporting Act
Every second brings Nigerians closer to exercising their democratic right and shaping the future of our nation.
Exercise your democratic right responsibly, peacefully and lawfully.
Abia Arise is not a platform that should simply be called upon when votes, mobilisation, or grassroots support are required and subsequently sidelined when positions, negotiations, recognition, and strategic decisions are being shared.
We reject the Politics of convenience.

If our contribution is important enough to count during mobilisation, then our voice must be important enough to count during consultation and decision-making.
If our structure is valuable enough to be relied upon for electoral success, then our political interests must be respected in the same measure.
Partnership must be based on mutual respect, equity, consultation, and shared responsibility.
Our Strength Is in Our People
The real strength of Abia Arise is not simply its name or organisational identity. It lies in the people behind it: committed stakeholders, professionals, community leaders, young people, women, grassroots mobilisers, and citizens who believe that Abia deserves purposeful and responsive leadership.
These people represent a significant political constituency.
Consequently, any serious electoral calculation that seeks to secure broad-based support in Abia must recognise the contribution and influence of Abia Arise.
We Seek Partnership, Not Patronage
Abia Arise is not asking to be patronised. It is asking to be recognised as an equal and credible stakeholder.
We believe that political alliances are strongest when every partner is treated with dignity and when no group is deliberately diminished for the convenience of another.
Our position is therefore clear:
Abia Arise must have a meaningful seat at the table.
Its leadership and membership must be consulted on matters that directly affect its interests. Its contributions must be acknowledged, and its legitimate aspirations must be given due consideration.
The Forthcoming Elections Demand Strategic Unity
The elections ahead will require more than slogans. They will require organisation, trust, effective mobilisation, strategic coordination, and the ability to bring different constituencies together around a common objective.
