APC Support Groups Coalition Reaffirms Commitment to Grassroots Coordination

The Coalition of APC Support Groups National Coordinators has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening coordination among member support groups and promoting grassroots participation in national development initiatives.

The coalition stated this during a strategic meeting convened by its National Convener, Comrade Richard M. Onyebuwa, in Abuja.

Onyebuwa said the coalition was established to provide a common platform for APC support groups to work together, improve coordination and ensure that their contributions are properly organised and recognised within the political structure.

He said the coalition would focus on building a functional organisational structure, clearly defining responsibilities and developing programmes through which members could contribute to its objectives.

The National Convener also stressed the importance of continuity, unity and commitment, describing the coalition as a platform intended to develop into a sustainable organisation rather than a temporary arrangement.

According to him, the coalition would support initiatives consistent with the broader national development direction of the Federal Government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, while providing a framework for grassroots participation.

The Co-Convener expressed support for the coalition’s objectives and called for cooperation and collective responsibility among members.

National Directors, including the National Women Leaders, also pledged their support and readiness to contribute their experience and expertise towards strengthening the organisation.

The meeting focused on organisational structure, effective coordination, media and public relations, grassroots engagement and programmes designed to demonstrate the capacity and contributions of the coalition.

Participants agreed on the need for unity, continuity and collective responsibility as the coalition develops its structure and programmes.

The meeting ended with a renewed commitment by the National Convener, Co-Convener, National Directors, National Women Leaders and National Coordinators to work collectively towards achieving the coalition’s stated objectives.
