Uzo Azubuike Takes Leadership Message To Catholic Women, Reaffirms Commitment To Aba

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate for Aba North and South Federal Constituency,Rt. Hon. Uzo Azubuike,has continued to demonstrate grassroots leadership and broad stakeholder engagement as he joined the 2026 Annual Convention of the Catholic Women Organization, Aba Diocese, yesterday,12th September,2026 at the Nneoma Hall of the Christ the King Cathedral, Aba.

Accompanied by the APC Candidate for Aba Central State Constituency,Hon. Princess Peace Nwaobilo,and former two-time Chairman of Aba North LGA, Hon. Prince Ogbonna Stanley, Barrister Chukwuemeka Nwaorgu,Uzo Azubuike commended the Catholic women for their resilience,commitment and positive contributions to society. He used the occasion to present himself as the party’s flag bearer and highlighted his record of leadership, particularly in human capital development and empowerment.

Following her introduction by Uzo Azubuike, Princess Peace Nwaobilo received a warm welcome from the women,led by Mrs. Florida Ngozi A. She pledged to champion the interests of women and protect the rights and future of the girl-child if elected into the Abia State House of Assembly, having garnered leadership experience as a former Deputy Chairperson of Aba South Local Government Area.

The train thereafter moved to the wedding reception of Mr. and Mrs. C.P. Nneoma Levi at Nobik Event Centre,Aba where notable APC leaders and candidates,including Hon. Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr,Justice Ogbonna(the APC candidate for Obingwa East State Constituency), and(his Obingwa West Counterpart),Mr. Maduka Akpulaonu,Chief Uzoma Ihuka(The APC Candidate for Isialangwa North and South Federal Constituency),Elder Godwin Nna,Chief Douglas Ufomba and Sir Abraham Oba,were in attendance.

The engagements further accentuated Rt. Hon. Uzo Azubuike’s growing stature as a tested, experienced and people-oriented leader,with a track record of service and the capacity to provide purposeful representation for the people of Aba North and South Federal Constituency.
