‘If you rig, you die’ – Omo-Agege warns ahead 2027 polls

Former Deputy Senate President and Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, candidate for Delta Central Senatorial District, Ovie Omo-Agege, has issued a stern warning to election riggers ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking during his campaign flag-off in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, Omo-Agege declared that whoever rigs the election will die.

According to him, anyone caught attempting to manipulate the election would face dire consequences, insisting that Nigerians would not allow their votes to be stolen.

He added that the era of ballot manipulation and electoral fraud was over, noting that the people are now more conscious and ready to defend their votes.

“It’s rig and die. Anybody who tries to rig the 2027 election will face the consequences. We will not allow anyone to steal our votes,” Omo-Agege declared.

He also alleged intimidation and attacks against his campaign, family and supporters, and appealed to security agencies and the international community to monitor political activities in Delta State.
