Calls for Urgent Government Intervention

Following the incident, members of the OSPAC security family described the attack as a tragic loss, saying the death of Wokocha would leave a significant gap in community policing and local security operations.

In a statement circulated after the attack, the group appealed to the Rivers State Government, the Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Council, the Nigeria Police Force, the Department of State Services (DSS), and other relevant security agencies to urgently intervene by launching a comprehensive investigation and bringing the perpetrators to justice.

The group also called for increased deployment of security personnel to Omoku and surrounding communities, warning that continued attacks on residents and community security volunteers could further undermine peace and public confidence.
