Abia Diaspora Commission Congratulates NNAUSA on 35th Annual Convention, Commends Support for Gov. Alex Otti’s Administration
The Abia State Diaspora Commission has congratulated the Ngwa National Association, USA (NNAUSA), on the successful celebration of its 35th Annual Convention held in Houston, Texas.
In a congratulatory message dated September 9, 2026, the Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Okey Allwell Agbara, extended warm felicitations to the President, Executive members, Council and entire membership of the association, describing the milestone as a reflection of NNAUSA’s enduring unity and commitment to the progress of its people and homeland.
The Commission also expressed appreciation to NNAUSA for graciously hosting the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, during the convention.
According to Agbara, the association’s pledge of continued support for the Otti administration and its continuity beyond 2027 was particularly commendable, underscoring what the Commission described as the diaspora community’s growing interest in the development and transformation of Abia State.
The Chairman further commended members of NNAUSA for their unity, patriotism, professional excellence and selfless contributions toward the advancement of Abia State.
He noted that the association’s sustained engagement with the state and its leadership demonstrates the important role Abians in the diaspora can play in supporting development initiatives, strengthening partnerships and contributing expertise and resources to the state.
Agbara concluded by congratulating NNAUSA once again on the successful 35th Annual Convention and wishing the association continued progress and greater achievements in the years ahead.
