BREAKING: Dangote Group Completes $2.5bn Private Placement, Strengthening Expansion Drive

Dangote Refinery has completed a $2.5 billion private placement, in what is being described as one of the largest corporate fundraising transactions by an African company.

The company announced the development on Thursday, saying the deal marks a major milestone in its long-term growth strategy and efforts to strengthen its capital base.

While details of the investors and the structure of the private placement have yet to be disclosed, the fresh capital is expected to support the refinery’s strategic expansion plans, deepen investments across key sectors, and further strengthen its balance sheet.
