‘You’re broke’ – Davido shades Iyabo Ojo’s partner, Paulo over remarks on Afrobeat

Afrobeat star, Davido, has blasted Iyabo Ojo’s partner and music promoter, Paulo Okoye, over his statement on Afrobeat.

MEDIA TODAY reports that Paulo had while lamenting over fees of Nigeria top Afrobeat singers, questioned if the music genre is “dead or in coma.”

Responding to him, Bankulli, a Nigerian Grammy-nominated singer and music executive, who faulted Paulo’s statement, also claimed that Paulo made the remarks because he couldn’t afford top artistes. 

Supporting Bankulli’s claim, Davido took to the comments section to tag Paulo “broke.”

Davido wrote; “PAUL O AKA PAUL BROKE.”

This is coming nearly two years after Paulo publicly defended Davido against the critic of his “Nigeria economy is in shambles” statement on The Big Homies House podcast.

MEDIA TODAY reports that Iyabo Ojo confirmed her romance with her billionaire lover, Paulo, during her 45th birthday celebration in December 2022.
