What Nigerian Applicants Should Check
The fellowship primarily targets candidates with permission to work in partner-newsroom locations, including the United States, United Kingdom and Hong Kong. Tarbell says visa sponsorship is uncommon and requires the host outlet’s approval.
The remote training stage does not establish that the subsequent placement can be completed from Nigeria.
Applicants needing sponsorship should review these conditions before applying through the official fellowship page.
