Big Brother Naija officially returned on Sunday, July 26, 2026, with the premiere of its 11th season, introducing 24 housemates who will battle for the biggest prize in the show’s history.

Hosted by media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the live launch show marked the start of the 10-week competition as contestants were introduced to viewers before moving into Biggie’s house.

This year’s edition is themed “Show Ya Sef,” with the winner set to receive a record-breaking ₦160 million prize package, including ₦100 million in cash and a brand-new SUV.

Rapper Falz opened the launch show with a live performance, while Ycee wrapped up the night with a closing performance.

Organisers also unveiled the newly redesigned Big Brother house, featuring a bright, colourful interior with bold designs that will serve as the contestants’ home throughout the season.

The 24 housemates include streamers, entrepreneurs, models, content creators and other young professionals, each bringing different personalities and game plans into the competition.

Since its debut in 2006, Big Brother Naija has grown into one of Africa’s biggest reality TV shows, launching the careers of many personalities in entertainment, business and media.

Season 11 will air live 24/7 on DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 29. Viewers can also stream every moment live on the DStv Stream and GOtv Stream apps, while deciding the fate of the housemates through weekly voting.
