British TV Presenter Jeremy Clarkson Opens Up About Prostate Cancer Battle

June 17, () — British television presenter, Jeremy Clarkson, has revealed that he has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer.

The 66-year-old, best known for hosting “Top Gear” and “The Grand Tour”, shared the news in the final episodes of Season 5 of “Clarkson’s Farm”, telling co-stars Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland: “I’ve got cancer”.

Clarkson said he underwent a biopsy after visiting a doctor and was told the cancer was “aggressive”, but had been caught “really early”.

“I’ve known since May”, he said, adding that he would need surgery and would be out of action for a while during recovery.

In a later episode, Clarkson confirmed the cancer was in his prostate and said doctors removed the affected portion during surgery.

The season finale shows Clarkson speaking from a hospital bed, where he revealed that some of the treatment had “gone awry”.

“If this is all successful, I’ll see you for season six. And if it isn’t, I won’t”, he said.

Ahead of the episodes’ release, Clarkson warned fans on Instagram that they would be a “really, really difficult” watch.

The diagnosis comes after Clarkson underwent a heart procedure in 2024 to treat blocked arteries.

Clarkson currently stars in “Clarkson’s Farm”, which follows his attempts to run a farm in the English countryside.
