Anyaso Names Media, Women Mobilisation Directors for 2027 Campaign

The Chima Anyaso Campaign Organisation (CACO) has announced the appointment of Hon. Promise Uzoma Okoro, ANIPR, as Director of Media and Publicity and Chief Mrs. Stella Okorie as Director of Women Mobilisation ahead of the 2027 election for Bende Federal Constituency.

The appointments were contained in separate letters dated July 28, 2026, and approved by the Labour Party candidate for the constituency, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso (OFUJI).

In the letter appointing Okoro, Anyaso cited his media expertise, experience and commitment to the campaign’s vision as key considerations for the appointment.

In his new role, Okoro will oversee the campaign’s media and publicity activities, including communication strategy, media engagements, publicity materials and the dissemination of campaign information across various platforms.

Okoro is a journalist, blogger, media and public relations practitioner and university lecturer. He currently serves as Chairman of the Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OMPAN), Abia State Chapter, and Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Abia State Chapter.

Similarly, Chief Mrs. Stella Okorie has been appointed Director of Women Mobilisation, with responsibility for coordinating the campaign’s women structures, committees and programmes.

She will also supervise women-focused campaign activities, advise on organisational matters, promote unity within the directorate and ensure effective coordination and accountability across its structures.

While congratulating the appointees, Anyaso expressed confidence in their capacity to deliver on their respective mandates with integrity, diligence and professionalism.

He said the appointments were part of efforts to establish a disciplined, issue-driven and people-oriented campaign organisation capable of effectively engaging voters and advancing the campaign’s message ahead of the 2027 Bende Federal Constituency election.
