Actress Omeche Oko Injured In Motorcycle Crash During Film Shoot

June 25 () — Nollywood actress, Omeche Oko, has recounted how she was injured after a motorcycle accident during a film shoot.
The actress shared a video on Instagram on Wednesday, June 24, showing moments from the set, the crash, and her treatment at a hospital.

In the footage, Oko was riding as a passenger on a motorcycle driven by her colleague, Victory Michael, during a scene.

The accident happened when the motorcycle hit a metal pole attached to a vehicle barrier at the filming location. The impact caused the rider to lose control, throwing Oko off the bike and resulting in a broken leg.

Crew members and fellow actors rushed to help after the crash, and she was later taken to the hospital for treatment.

The video also showed the actress receiving medical care, including injections and other treatment for her injuries. She was later discharged and seen using a walking aid and wheelchair.

Reflecting on the incident, Oko said it highlighted the risks actors face while filming.

“Life is very, very fragile. It could have been a different story, but God said NO. If u see an actor today, give them a hug. We take a lot of risks for the craft. All I can say is Thank You, God”, she wrote.

The video has since attracted reactions from colleagues and fans, who wished her a speedy recovery.
