A fresh update has emerged on 36-year-old Anulika Onyeanusia, the Anambra mother arrested over an alleged case involving her seven-year-old daughter.
According to a statement circulating online, the woman is currently being held at the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) following her arrest.
The person who reportedly saw her said she showed no remorse over the allegations and could eventually face imprisonment as investigations continue.
He said, “We Just Saw Her Now. She’s Currently In Jail At The State CID. She’s Not Even Remorseful. She’s Definitely Going To Prison From Here.”
Onyeanusia was arrested by the Anambra State Police Command on September 10, 2026, after a disturbing video allegedly involving her minor daughter circulated online.
Police spokesperson SP Tochukwu Ikenga had said four children, aged two, three, six and nine, were rescued during the operation, while relevant items were also recovered.
The Suspect reportedly claimed that the videos under investigation were generated using artificial intelligence.
