In the video shared online on Friday, Okpara explained that the money was not hers and had been given to her to make payments to other people.
“This money is not my money. I cannot do offering of ₦1,640,200. Please help me trace the accounts,” she said.
Her appeal generated widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians urging the church and anyone who could identify the account receiving the funds to assist her.
The money has now reportedly been refunded to Okpara, bringing an end to the matter after her public call for help.
