Officer Woos denies announcing Broda Shaggy's death

Nigerian content creator, Officer Woos, has denied announcing the death of his colleague, Broda Shaggy.

MEDIA TODAY reports that an X blogger @Ghost91on had two days ago claimed that Officer Woos, who is Broda Shaggy’s close associate announced his death in an Instagram post.

@Ghost91on wrote as he shared Broda Shaggy’s picture “Officer woos just announced the passed away of his brother broda shaggi vis his ig page. May his soul rest in perfect peace.”

Reacting to the viral post, Officer Woos shared the screenshot of the post on his Instagram story and simply wrote “false.”

Also in a statement by Versed Attorneys, his legal representative, the content creator 

“We act as Solicitors to Mr. Jubril bril Oladapo Gbadamosi alias “Officer Woos” (“our Client”), a respected content creator and public figure, and write this statement in response to false and malicious publications currently circulating on social media, particularly X (formerly Twitter). 

“It has come to Client’s attention that certain unverified and anonymous social media pages have published claim alleging that our Client publicly announced the death of a close colleague on his official page.

Our client has never announced the death of any colleague, friend, or associate on any of his platforms. These publications are entirely manufactured and constitute a deliberate attempt to misinform the public”, it said.

The content creator further threatened legal action against all the individuals responsible for the publication.

MEDIA TODAY reports that Broda Shaggy’s death speculation came three months after he was shot while filming at the Sango Ota Bridge, Ogun state in March 2026.

Ever since the incident, Broda Shaggy has not addressed the public about the incident.
