She explained that her cousin had been wrongly accused and ended up spending time behind bars despite maintaining his innocence.

During one of her visits, she learned that her cousin and some other inmates had been instructed to go into the bush to pick cashew nuts, which they were expected to sell to foreigners.

However, an unexpected incident occurred while they were in the bush, leading to her cousin being the only one arrested, despite his alleged innocence.

The X user further revealed that her cousin spent about a year in prison before he was eventually released.

She said his freedom came after his friend reportedly confessed to the crime, helping to establish that her cousin had been wrongly imprisoned.
