Husband Allegedly B+ats Wife to D+ath Over Visit to Late Friend’s Husband, Flees in Delta

• A Delta State man has reportedly fled after allegedly b+ating his wife, Nora, to d+ath following a dispute over her visit to the husband of her late friend.
• According to the account, Emma allegedly att@cked Nora with an iron object before chasing her outside their home and continuing the a§§ault in the presence of their three children, aged 8, 5 and 1.
• The incident has sparked widespread outrage online, while authorities are yet to issue an official statement as the Suspect remains at large.

A man identified as Emma is reportedly on the run after allegedly b+ating his wife, Nora, a mother of three, to d+ath following an argument over her visit to the husband of her late friend in Delta State.

According to reports, Nora had informed her husband that she intended to visit Cyril, the husband of her late friend, Jennifer, who reportedly d+ed during childbirth. A relative of the deceased, speaking in an audio statement, said Emma initially approved the visit.

“My sister come tell her husband say, ‘One of my friends, Cyril, that guy wey do photographer for our marriage, him wife d+e through operation. I wan go see am.’ Him come say, ‘Okay.’”

The relative said Nora later visited Cyril alongside another sister and returned home in the evening. However, Emma allegedly became enraged, accusing her of visiting another man despite her earlier explanation.

“But I tell you say I wan go visit, greet my friend wey him wife die. Na me and my sister go,” she was said to have told him.

According to the account, Emma allegedly att@cked Nora with an iron object before chasing her outside their home and continuing the a§§ault in the presence of their three children, aged 8, 5 and 1.

“Na him use iron wh+p my sister. She fall inside the swamp water. Na her husband waka leave her body like that,” the relative alleged.

The family claimed Emma returned about two hours later, found Nora lying motionless and raised the alarm. She was reportedly confirmed d+ad, while the Suspect allegedly fled and remains at large.

Authorities are yet to officially comment on the incident.
