Nigerian streamer Carter Efe has reacted to VeryDarkMan’s decision to travel to China to source the newly released iPhone 18 for Nigerians.
Carter Efe made the comment during a livestream on Friday while discussing VDM’s plan to purchase the smartphones directly from China and make them available to Nigerians.
According to Carter Efe, VDM’s move could negatively affect the business of people who already trade in phones, particularly Igbo business owners.
“First of all VDM go do wetin them go take gather am. VDM go do wetin go take make Igbo people gather am kill am for China,” Carter Efe said.
The streamer also questioned why VDM had suddenly decided to venture into phone sales, noting that he had never known the social commentator to be involved in the business.
“VDM no dey sell phone o but enter China, he wan go buy phone dey sell. He wan spoil people business,” he said.
Carter Efe further expressed surprise at the move, questioning VDM’s intentions as he continued to criticise the decision.
“VDM, I never see that kind person before, you be witch?” he asked.
VDM had earlier shared a video from an Apple Store in China following the launch of the iPhone 18. He explained that he intended to help Nigerians get the devices directly from China instead of purchasing them locally at what he described as inflated prices.
