Fresh Concerns As Medical Report Reveals Doris Ogala’s Health Condition Amid Detention

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala is facing health concerns amid her reported detention.

A medical report from the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia, dated June 5, 2026, has circulated.

The report identifies her as Umezurike Doris Uzunma Ogala, aged 30.

Fresh concerns have emerged over the health of Nollywood actress and gubernatorial aspirant Doris Ogala following the circulation of a medical report detailing her health condition amid her reported detention.

The medical document, reportedly issued by the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia, on June 5, 2026, identified the actress as Umezurike Doris Uzunma Ogala, 30, and revealed that she was diagnosed with severe anaemia resulting from a submucous myoma, a type of uterine fibroid.

According to the report, signed by Dr Ifediora Arinze, Ogala was referred to the hospital after experiencing prolonged abnormal vaginal bleeding, weakness, fever and restlessness.

Her medical condition was reportedly linked to a myomectomy procedure she underwent on April 2, 2025, at a private medical facility.

The document further stated that she was admitted for treatment and later discharged after showing considerable improvement.

The emergence of the document has triggered reactions across social media, with several users expressing concern over her reported detention despite her health challenges.

Some social media users questioned whether adequate attention was being given to her medical needs, while others argued that the judicial process should not be used to punish or victimise anyone.

A post accompanying the circulating medical report read:

“Doris Ogala is reportedly bleeding from an old surgical wound while in detention. She should be receiving urgent medical attention, not going through further suffering. This is totally wrong and unjust. Our judicial system should never be used as a weapon of revenge.”

@the_womanking1:”YOU DON’T HAVE TO LIKE DORIS TO RESPECT HER COURAGE! I may not be a fan of Doris Ogala, and we may not agree on everything, but one thing I will never do is ridicule a woman simply because she has decided to step into the political arena and aspire to become a governor.”
