Why Nigerians should pay attention to this organisation
CRDCU occupies an important position in the Federal Government’s performance-management structure. By setting measurable expectations, reviewing progress and creating channels for citizen feedback, it is intended to make public administration more accountable.
However, monitoring government projects is not the same as completing them. The true measure of CRDCU’s effectiveness lies in whether its assessments contribute to visible improvements in public services, completed infrastructure and better outcomes for Nigerians.
Citizens, journalists and civil society organisations can use its published information as a starting point for asking important questions about government performance.
The question every Nigerian should be asking is: Are the promises being tracked by CRDCU actually being delivered in our communities?
