Anyaso Clears Hospital Bills for Bende Indigenes

Renowned humanitarian, businessman and public figure, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso (OFUJI), has again demonstrated his commitment to improving healthcare access by settling the hospital bills of two indigent patients from Bende Federal Constituency as part of his monthly medical assistance programme.

The beneficiaries, Mr. Uche Ekeoma, a 20-year-old indigene of Ihungwu Amankalu, Igbere in Bende Local Government Area, and Mrs. Akiri Chinasa, 50, from Amankwo Uzuakoli, received financial support from Dr. Anyaso to offset their medical expenses following successful treatment.

Uche Ekeoma, who was admitted to the New Surgical Ward at the Federal Medical Center, Umuahia, on May 6, 2026, was treated for a massive scrotal mass complication and underwent a right inguinal herniorrhaphy. His hospital bills were fully settled through Dr. Anyaso’s intervention.

Similarly, Mr. Chinasa, who was admitted on June 6 and discharged on June 15, 2026, underwent multiple surgeries performed by the Neurosurgery Team. His medical expenses were also cleared under the humanitarian initiative.

The gesture forms part of Dr. Anyaso’s regular monthly medical assistance programme designed to support indigent residents of Bende Federal Constituency facing financial challenges in accessing quality healthcare.

Beneficiaries and their families expressed profound appreciation for the timely intervention, describing it as life-changing and a reflection of Dr. Anyaso’s enduring compassion for the wellbeing of his people.

Dr. Anyaso’s sustained humanitarian efforts, particularly in healthcare, education and community development, have continued to earn him widespread commendation across Bende Federal Constituency and beyond.
