ECHEZONA STREET VANGUARD SET FOR GRAND INAUGURATION OF STATE, LGA AND WARD EXECUTIVES IN ABA
A major political gathering is set to take place in Aba as the Echezona Street Vanguard for Dr. Alex Otti Political Structure prepares for the official inauguration of its State, Local Government and Ward Executives on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
The event, scheduled to hold at the Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic, Aba, by 11:00 a.m., is expected to bring together key political stakeholders, government officials, party faithful, youth leaders, and supporters of the transformative leadership of Governor Alex Chioma Otti across Abia State.
The Echezona Street Vanguard, a formidable political support group, is led by the Special Adviser to Governor Alex Otti on Policy and Intervention and is focused on strengthening grassroots mobilization, political engagement, and support for the administration’s vision of a New Abia.
The inauguration marks another strategic step in consolidating the growing political structure supporting Governor Otti’s developmental agenda across the 17 local government areas and 184 wards of the state. Political stakeholders have described the event as a significant move towards deepening grassroots participation and enhancing the reach of the governor’s people-oriented policies.
Dignitaries expected at the event include the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR; the Deputy Governor, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu; the Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Ihuoma Emeruwa; the Mayor of Aba North Local Government Area, Hon. Timothy Kalu Iheke; and the Mayor of Aba South Local Government Area, Hon. Obialor Denis Anyanwu.
Also expected are the Abia state Chairman of Labour Party, Hon. Peter Azubuike; Rector of Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic, Engr. Prof. Christopher Kalu Okoro; the Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Sir Nwaobilor Ananaba; the Chairman of the Greater Aba Development Authority (GADA), Ide John Udeagbala; the Director General of GADA, Arc. Uche Ukeje; and the Chairman of Oris Group, Chief Greg Okafor (Owelle Ndi Igbo), among several other prominent personalities from across the state.
The gathering is anticipated to serve as a platform for reaffirming commitment to Governor Otti’s administration while unveiling a robust network of executives tasked with driving grassroots advocacy, community and street engagement, and political mobilization in support of the government’s developmental strides.
The event is being coordinated by the State Chairman of the Echezona Street Vanguard for Dr. Alex Otti, Chief Chijioke Michael Amaku, popularly known as MC Boss.
