2027: No more promises, show your record – Kwankwaso

The vice-presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Rabiu Kwankwaso, has challenged politicians to go beyond making promises and present records of their achievements in office.

Kwankwaso made the call on Thursday while responding to questions on Channel’s Politics Today.

His remarks come as preparations for the 2027 general elections gather momentum.

“If you are coming for the first time, you can tell people what you intend to do, but after four years, it’s not what you say, it’s what you have done during the opportunity that you had that will work for you or against you.

“From what we see on papers or on social media, I think the Kano State Government collected over one trillion naira, and that is their budget per annum,” Kwankwaso said.
