Big Brother Naija star Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has reacted strongly to the ongoing controversy involving fellow reality star Segun “Sheggz” Olusemo and his former partner, Bella Okagbue.

The latest development comes after Sheggz reportedly instructed his lawyers to issue a legal notice to Bella over statements allegedly made about him and members of his family. The reported notice demanded that Bella stop making what his lawyers described as defamatory statements and issue a retraction.

Phyna, who has openly supported Bella amid the fallout from their relationship, has previously made serious allegations against Sheggz, including claims of physical abuse during his relationship with Bella. She also claimed that she personally witnessed an altercation while she was staying at Bella’s residence. Sheggz has denied allegations of abuse.

Reacting to the reported legal threat, Phyna questioned why Sheggz and his legal team would demand such a huge sum from her, particularly in connection with allegations she said she had personally witnessed.

“So Sheggz, you mean I should give you 500 Million Naira, you that beat my friend? If it were in London, you would already be under investigation,” Phyna was quoted as saying.

Her comments have added another layer to an already heated dispute that has moved beyond social media exchanges and into the realm of legal threats.
