Nigerian social media personality Oloba Salo has sparked reactions online after taking a series of provocative jabs at controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable.
In a recent exchange, Oloba Salo mocked the singer over his music style, public associations and achievements in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
Taking a direct shot at Portable, Oloba Salo said he would be willing to adopt all of the singer’s children, while also making a bold prediction about how people might refer to him in the future.
He said:
“I’ll adopt all your children. If you see 2027 call me ba$7ard. Why can’t you sing song like Asake? Why is that we always see you in the gathering of Eiye? Why don’t we see you in Grammy and BET awards? You have never been to headies before.”
Oloba Salo also compared Portable’s musical career with that of Afrobeats star Asake, questioning why the singer has not achieved similar recognition on major international award platforms.
