UYPCF Celebrates 25th Anniversary, Holds International Conference in Asaba

The Ututu Young Peoples’ Christian Fellowship (UYPCF) celebrated its 25th Anniversary with a four-day International Conference held from August 27 to 30, 2026, at St. Patrick College, Meresi Road, Asaba, Delta State.

The conference, themed “Season of All-Round Increase” and drawn from Psalm 115:14, brought together members from different parts of Nigeria and abroad for worship, prayers, Bible teachings, fellowship and spiritual renewal.

The President of UYPCF, Bro. Sunday Nwachukwu, led the fellowship throughout the anniversary celebration as members reflected on 25 years of God’s faithfulness, growth and service to humanity.

One of the major highlights of the conference was a Bible quiz competition involving contestants from different zones of the fellowship. The competition encouraged members to deepen their knowledge of the Scriptures while promoting healthy interaction and learning.

At the end of the contest, the overall winner received 50,000, naira while the second and third positions received 30,000 Naira and 20,000 Naira respectively.

During the event, members also reflected on the history of the fellowship. UYPCF began on October 28, 2001, at Dynyari Hotels in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, with only three people in attendance. From that humble beginning, the fellowship has grown into a vibrant Christian organization with more than 500 members spread across 16 zones in Nigeria, as well as branches in the United States of America and Canada.

Over the years, UYPCF has recorded several achievements, including its registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), evangelistic outreach across the 19 villages of Ututu, the winning of hundreds of souls for Christ, and the consistent organization of annual Christmas programmes, Prayer Storm gatherings and International Conferences.

The conference featured powerful ministrations from renowned ministers of God, including Pastor Sam Obidike, Evangelist Chijioke Ozie, and Pastor Kalu Oji Oji, who inspired participants through teachings, prayers and spiritual impartation.

The four-day event concluded on Sunday with a thanksgiving service, where members expressed gratitude to God for a successful conference and for sustaining the fellowship over the past 25 years.

The anniversary celebration also renewed the commitment of both the leadership and members to the vision of UYPCF to “raise a people of great destiny” and continue expanding its spiritual influence and impact in the years ahead.
