Reality TV star and entrepreneur Mercy Eke has shared a humorous observation about how fame appears to come with unexpected financial consequences.
Taking to social media after attending a show, Mercy expressed surprise at what she experienced, suggesting that her celebrity status may have influenced the prices she was charged.
The reality star jokingly remarked that becoming famous seems to come with an automatic increase in prices, leaving her to wonder if the attention that comes with fame also affects how much people pay for things.
Her comment has sparked reactions from fans, with many relating to the idea that celebrities and public figures often have to deal with higher costs because of their status.
Mercy Eke, who rose to prominence after winning the fourth season of the Big Brother Naija reality show, has remained one of the most recognisable personalities from the franchise.
