Rufai Oseni Challenges Primate Ayodele Over Tinubu-FBI Prediction
A heated exchange has emerged between Arise TV journalist Rufai Oseni and a guest identified as Ayo following comments by Primate Elijah Ayodele concerning President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and documents reportedly linked to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Primate Ayodele had warned that President Tinubu should take every possible step to prevent the release of the documents, arguing that their disclosure could have serious consequences for the Nigerian leader.
“President Tinubu should do everything possible to stop the FBI from releasing these documents because it could cost him a lot,“ Primate Ayodele said.
The statement quickly became a subject of discussion, with questions raised about the basis of the prediction and the credibility of the cleric making it.
During the discussion, Rufai Oseni asked Ayo to identify Primate Ayodele and explain the basis for describing him as a leader.
Ayo responded that Ayodele is a prophet who leads the population and serves as a shepherd.
Rufai, however, immediately challenged the description, questioning the kind of spiritual leadership being attributed to the cleric.
“Who is Primate Ayodele when I’m talking?”
Ayo replied: “he is a prophet, he leads the population, he is a shepherd.”
Rufai then pressed further, asking whether Ayodele’s previous statements and predictions were sufficient to establish him as someone worthy of being regarded as a spiritual shepherd.
“Which kind of shepherd is he? With what he has said in the past, can you make him a shepherd over your life?”
The exchange has added another layer to the ongoing public conversation surrounding predictions about President Tinubu, the FBI documents and the potential political implications of their reported release.
While Ayodele’s warning has generated attention, Rufai’s questioning shifted the focus from the substance of the prediction to the credibility and track record of the person making it, leaving viewers to consider whether past statements should influence how such predictions are received.
