PFIPC: Police Raid Ogbomoso Home Of Fake Presidential Appointee Adeyemi
July 6, () — Police operatives, on Monday, reportedly raided the Ogbomoso, Oyo State, residence of Prince Adeyemi Adeniyi, the man standing trial over alleged forgery, impersonation and related offences involving the purported Presidential Fiscal and Infrastructure Projects Council (PFIPC), arresting his father and another individual during the operation.
The raid comes as investigations continue into the activities surrounding the controversial council, which has drawn national attention following allegations that it was used to falsely portray Adeniyi as a presidential appointee and to confer legitimacy on activities now under criminal investigation.
Residents who witnessed the operation said a convoy of police vehicles arrived at the family residence in the early hours of Monday, with armed operatives taking positions around the premises before conducting a search of the property.
According to eyewitness accounts, Adeniyi’s father was subsequently taken into custody alongside another man who was said to have been visiting the family when the officers arrived.
A resident, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter, alleged that the officers searched parts of the residence before leaving with the two men.

Prince Adeyemi Adeniyi is currently facing prosecution over allegations of forgery, impersonation and other related offences arising from claims that he falsely held himself out as an official of the purported Presidential Fiscal and Infrastructure Projects Council, an entity that investigators allege lacked lawful establishment.
As of press time, the Oyo State Police Command had yet to issue an official statement confirming the reported operation.
