NUJ Abia Holds Emergency Congress Thursday

UMUAHIA — The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Abia State Council, will hold an emergency congress on Thursday, October 15, 2026.

According to a notice issued by the Council, the congress will hold at the Press Centre, No. 66 Aba Road, Umuahia, by 2p.m.

The statement signed by Chairman, Comrade Chidi Asonye and Secretary, Comrade Iyke Onuegbu, said members including veterans of the Union are requested to attend en masse as very crucial matter of concern shall be discussed.
