Portable made the statement during an appearance on MEDIA TODAY’s Rubbin’ Minds on Sunday, July 19, where he spoke about his boxing journey and future plans.

When asked who he would like to face next, the singer picked Terry G, popularly known as the “Akpako Master,” while dismissing other possible opponents.

“I want to fight Terry G. If Terry G fights me one-on-one in boxing, I swear to God he will rise again. People will remember him again.”

When the host suggested that the fight was aimed at helping Terry G regain attention, Portable agreed, saying he wanted to revive the singer’s public profile through the match.

Portable also claimed he played a major role in popularizing celebrity boxing in Nigeria, saying he used his own image and career to promote the sport.
