EPL table: Arsenal maintain second position with narrow win at Nottingham Forest
Arsenal edged Nottingham Forest 1-0 in Sunday's late kick-off, to maintain their second spot on the Premier League table.
On Saturday, Manchester City beat Ipswich Town 3-2 at the Etihad.
City's perfect record in seven matches, means they have 21 points and went six clear of the Gunners.
Mikel Arteta's men huffed and puffed against Forest, failing to record a single goal on target until the 80th minute.
Substitute Noni Madueke picked up a Declan Rice pass and saw his shot deflected into the net.
The win takes Arsenal up to 18 points and they host Everton next in the league.
