The State Executive Council of Echezona Street Vanguard for Dr. Alex Otti on Sunday, July 5, 2026, held a strategic leadership meeting with members from the Umuahia Zone at Umuahia North Local Government Area, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening grassroots mobilisation ahead of future political engagements in Abia State.

The meeting brought together leaders, stakeholders and members of the organisation to deliberate on strategies for expanding the movement’s reach across communities while consolidating support for Governor Alex Otti and the Labour Party.
Addressing participants, the State Chairman of Echezona Street Vanguard, Hon. Chijioke Michael Amaku (MC Boss), restated the group’s vision of building a formidable grassroots structure capable of delivering overwhelming electoral victories across the state.
According to him, the organisation’s mission goes beyond winning elections in all 17 Local Government Areas of Abia State, stressing that its members must work tirelessly to ensure the opposition fails to secure electoral support anywhere in the state.
He further charged members of the Umuahia Zone to remain steadfast, united and committed to extending the presence of Echezona Street Vanguard to every street and community across Abia, describing grassroots engagement as the foundation for sustaining the achievements of the present administration.
Mr. Amaku also expressed appreciation to Governor Alex Otti for what he described as unprecedented developmental strides across the state, noting that the administration has restored hope and given Abians a renewed sense of belonging through its people-oriented policies and projects.
Also speaking at the meeting, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Industry and SMEs, Lady Chinwe Kalu Uba, commended the Founder of Echezona Street Vanguard for Dr. Alex Otti, Dr. Christian Uche Anokwuru for establishing the Echezona Street Vanguard initiative, describing it as a strategic platform for deepening the Labour Party’s connection with the grassroots.
She emphasised the need for unity among party faithful, reminding members that they remain one family under the Labour Party and urging them to work collectively for the success of all Labour Party candidates in the forthcoming elections.
Lady Chinwe further encouraged members to intensify voter mobilisation by ensuring that every eligible voter obtains a Permanent Voter Card (PVC) and actively participates in the electoral process to support the re-election of Governor Alex Otti.
The strategic meeting, which attracted government functionaries, party leaders and members of the Echezona Street Vanguard from the Old Bende axis, ended on a high note with participants reaffirming their commitment to strengthening the organisation’s grassroots structures and advancing the developmental vision of the Alex Otti-led administration 
across Abia State.
