Drama As Traditionalist Woman Chases Female Preachers From Her Doorstep
A dramatic confrontation between a woman and a group of female church members has sparked reactions online after the women reportedly visited her home to preach to her.
The incident, captured in a video now circulating on social media, began after the woman confronted the group of female church members who had approached her doorstep for evangelism.
The woman, who appeared to identify with traditional religious practices, was seen holding what appeared to be a fetish object as she challenged the visitors and demanded that they leave her premises.
The female preachers appeared startled by the confrontation and quickly retreated from the scene. As they hurried away, the woman continued shouting at them while holding the object in her hand.
The video has since generated a heated debate online, with social media users expressing contrasting views over religious evangelism, traditional beliefs and the boundaries that should be respected when preaching to people in their homes.
While some commenters criticized the woman’s approach, others argued that people should be allowed to practise their chosen faith without being pressured to embrace another religion.
Reacting to the video, @Oluwa_Ni_Sh0_La joked about the encounter, saying: “You wan change Ijebu woman as how? Be like you no like yourself again ”
@Ndubuezemartin1 wrote: “Oh those ones don’t ever trust their God, they’ll be like 404 error, we entered the wrong place ”
@JayneNicole4213 stated: “Them like wahala ehn all this Christian’s. Na so them go stand dey make noise with loud speakers for road sometimes”
@Agbomjrn condemned the woman’s response but questioned the approach of the preachers, saying: “What she did is very wrong, you don’t just go to people house in the name of preaching to them,it’s like forcing them to change their religion knowing fully well what their faith is,”
Another commenter, @natureess, took a different position, saying: “I would stay behind without fear as she say those incantation and nothing bad would happen.
God is not against tradition, they’re not suppose to be rivals because God created everything that exist on earth.
