Diamond Platnumz’s marriage hits rock as wife Zuchu announces split
Tanzanian music star, Diamond Platnumz’s marriage has hit the rock as his wife, singer Zuchu, announced a split.
Zuchu announced the end of their six year union in a post on her Instagram story on Sunday.

The songstress, who is Platnumz’s record label signee, did not disclose the reason for the split but said, “We tried, but Allah has His own plans.”
While revealing that their divorce is ongoing, she added, “I have finally decided to choose myself and this is a time to heal and focus more on my health and career.
“My husband and I are now separated and going through a divorce. I announce this with a heavy heart. After 6 years of being together, I’ve finally decided to choose myself.”
MEDIA TODAY reports that the couple officially got married in June 2025 after five years of togetherness.
Reacting to the announcement, Diamond Platnumz’s ex lover, socialite Zari Hasan, who ended her relationship with him over his alleged cheating habits, applauded Zuchu for her ability to cope.
