Several members of the congregation testified that his unwavering commitment to God and his determination to lead people to the knowledge of Jesus Christ have transformed their lives and families.

“You have been commissioned. You carry the light that transforms society. Go and impact your world. You are privileged to have him as your pastor, because in Dominion City we do not have many like him. He is a man of excellence,” Rev. Ako said.

He added that “men move with their atmosphere” and urged the church to honour the ministry gift placed over them. Citing 1 Corinthians 9: 1 verse 11.

He also said, “Your response to the ministry gift will position you for your next level. There are benefits that accrue when you respond to the ministry gift. Your job is to hold your pastor’s hand as he ministers. Honour is the way of rising”.

In his remarks, Pastor Dimkpa expressed gratitude and reaffirmed his commitment to the church.
“As long as I live, I will be committed to Dominion City Umuahia and I will defend it in love,” he said. He prayed for members to live righteously, remain committed to the work of God, and experience total transformation in their lives.

The service ended with songs of praise and thanksgiving as the church celebrated what it described as God’s faithfulness over them by gifting them Pastor Ugochukwu Dimkpa.
