Embrace Leadership As Sacred Call To Service, Otti Charges New PFN Executives
Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti, has charged the newly inaugurated Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), executives in the state to see their positions as a sacred call to service and an opportunity to promote spiritual and moral transformation.
Governor Otti gave the charge on Tuesday at Active Word Assembly, Ikot-Ekpene Road, Umuahia, during the inauguration of the PFN Local Government Executive Officers.

The Governor represented by his Special Assistant on Religious Matters, Apostle Kenneth Wiper, congratulated the new executives stressing that their inauguration “is a divine call to serve”.
“It is not merely a change of political office or transition; it is a sacred mandate to be chosen to lead the body of Christ at a time like this”.
He also noted that the Christian community remains an important partner in the peace, development and progress of Abia adding that the prayers of the Church has remained significant to his administration.
Governor Otti therefore urged the PFN leadership to sustain its partnership with government through constructive counsel, a prophetic voice and mobilisation of citizens towards righteousness.
“We need your prophetic voice to keep us on our toes, to keep us on watch, and your counsel to guide our policies”, he said.
The Governor said his administration recognised the role of the Church in governance, noting that the state had recently been dedicated to God during the State Solemn Assembly and Covenant Renewal Service.
Describing the Church and government as “co-labourers in the vineyard”, Governor Otti disclosed that the state government had allocated land to the PFN for the construction of its secretariat and assured the PFN leadership of continued support.
Earlier, the Abia State Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Rev. Ojo Ojo, urged the new executives to lead with the fear of God and live exemplary lives.
Delivering a sermon titled “The Vessel That Will Not Be Used,” Rev. Dr John Eze charged the leaders to remain useful to God and make proper use of the opportunities entrusted to them.
He urged the PFN executives to demonstrate their faith through practical service, sacrifice and commitment to the work of God.
