Stop Insulting Oba Of Benin Or Die Mysteriously – Amb. Ode-idahosa Curses Social Media Abusers

* Says Oba Ewuare II Is Not Misplaced Priority, Most Respected King in the World

A distinguished Edo-born international diplomat and diaspora leader, Hon. Amb. Env. Hamzaosa Ode-Idahosa, JP, has placed ancestral curses on social media influencers and individuals who have made it a habit to insult the revered Oba of Benin Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Omo N’ Oba N’ Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, N’Ogidigan, warning that those who continue to disparage the Benin throne may die mysteriously.

The Ambassador, who hails from Uhunmwode Local Government Area of Edo State, handed down the warning in Benin City while speaking on the rising cases of unprintable, lukewarm and disrespectful attitudes against the highly respected Benin Monarch on social media.

According to him, the Oba of Benin is not a misplaced priority, but a world-class King, well respected across the globe, and the custodian of the richest culture and tradition in Africa.

“Enough is enough. I am warning those social media influencers who are passing unprintable and lukewarm comments on our highly revered Oba, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Oba Ewuare II N’Ogidigan, to stop. The Benin Kingdom Oba is not a misplaced priority. He is a King well respected across the globe. Anyone who insults the Benins, the Oba and the Benin Kingdom, I lay curses on them, they might die mysteriously for sizing up with the greatest Benin Kingdom,” Amb. Ode-Idahosa declared.

Hon. Amb. Ode-Idahosa, who is the former Secretary General of Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NIDO Africa), Ambassador of National Youth Council of Nigeria Diaspora (Egypt), Peace Ambassador of PAAN, Edo State Diaspora Liaison Officer, and Coordinator General of Human Rights Freedom Global Network (HRFGN), has been described as a man who has done so much for Nigerian youths, especially in his home base, Uhunmwode Local Government Area.

Many youths in Uhunmwode have benefited from his mentorship, youth empowerment programmes, diaspora advocacy, and human rights protection initiatives. He is widely regarded as a voice for the voiceless and a unifier of Nigerians at home and in the diaspora.

Speaking on the 2027 general elections, the Ambassador said opposition parties are yet to come out with any clear agenda for Nigerians, but are rather busy criticizing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for no reason.

“To me, Mr. President has done so much for Nigeria as a country. Opposition parties are yet to come out with their agenda, rather they are criticizing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for no reasons adduced. In my view, Mr. President deserves a second term as Nigeria’s finest President,” he said.

He noted that President Tinubu’s reforms, though tough, are repositioning Nigeria for greatness, and that Edo State under Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo is already aligning with the Renewed Hope Agenda.

He called on all Edo youths and Nigerians in diaspora to mobilize massively for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
