“I Don’t Know How To Tell My Mum”- Man Seeks Help After Sister Disappears In Qatar

A Nigerian man has appealed for urgent help after his sister reportedly went missing shortly after travelling from Lagos to Qatar.

In a lengthy post shared on X, the man, identified as @DigitalWorldB, detailed the circumstances surrounding his sister’s disappearance and recalled their last conversation before she became unreachable.

According to him, the siblings last spoke via WhatsApp while she was still on the flight from Lagos to Qatar. However, after her arrival, attempts to reach her by phone reportedly proved unsuccessful.

The man explained that someone who was scheduled to pick her up from the airport contacted the airline and was allegedly told that she had already collected her luggage.

He further revealed that his sister had worked at the Lagos airport for almost 12 years before embarking on the trip, which he said was her first journey outside Nigeria.

According to his account, she personally financed the trip and was expected to resume work after arriving in Qatar. However, her continued absence and unreachable phone have raised concerns among her family.

He said the travel agent involved has been informed and asked to file a report over the situation. He also expressed concern about how to inform their mother about what had happened.

Seeking assistance, the X user called on relevant authorities, including the Nigerian authorities and Qatar Airways, to intervene and help establish his sister’s whereabouts.

“I am also pleading with the @MOI_QatarE and @qatarairways to look into it @abikedabirir maybe through their CCTV camera footage and investigate the issue please”, he added.
