Nifemi Oguntoye has recounted an experience he allegedly had at a government hospital while his wife was giving birth.

According to Oguntoye, a doctor attending to his wife reportedly took him aside during the delivery and made a request involving money.

He claimed the doctor told him that if he did not want his wife to undergo a Caesarean section, he would have to give him some money.

Oguntoye expressed concern over the incident, noting that it happened at a government hospital.

Sharing the experience, he said:

“When my wife was giving birth, a doctor called me aside and told me that if I didn’t want my wife to undergo a C-section operation, I should give him some money. And this happened in a government hospital.”
