ASTOPU Umuahia Chairman, Appolos, Welcomes Members to September, Urges Unity and Professionalism
The Chairman of the Abia State Tricycles Operators Union (ASTOPU), Umuahia Zone, Comrade Chinweotito Godson Appolos, has welcomed tricycle operators, their families, passengers and residents of Abia State to the new month of September, describing it as a fresh chapter filled with hope, opportunities and greater possibilities.
In a goodwill message marking the beginning of the month, Appolos expressed optimism that September would bring greater opportunities, prosperity, sound health, peace and remarkable achievements to members of the union and the people of the state.
The ASTOPU chairman encouraged tricycle operators to approach the new month with renewed determination, urging them to remain committed to hard work and responsible service while contributing positively to the development of their communities.
He particularly called on members to uphold discipline, professionalism, safety, respect for passengers and obedience to constituted authorities, stressing the importance of responsible transportation services in fostering a safer and more orderly society.
Appolos also prayed for the safety and success of operators as they go about their daily activities, expressing hope that every journey undertaken in September would end safely and that the efforts of members would translate into improved livelihoods and greater prosperity.
He further sought divine protection and blessings for the families of ASTOPU members, praying that the new month would usher in peace, good health and abundant rewards for the people.
The ASTOPU Umuahia Zone chairman reaffirmed the importance of unity among members, noting that collective responsibility and cooperation remain essential to achieving meaningful progress within the union and the wider community.
